Shopify 

Applies to: Business, Enterprise (and Trial if Shopify integration is enabled for your workspace)

Use the Primefold XI Shopify integration to display a survey after checkout—on Shopify’s Thank you / order status page. This is the only supported placement.

Overview

With this integration, you can:

  • Install a Shopify extension provided by Primefold XI
  • Add your Primefold XI API key in the extension settings
  • Select which Primefold XI survey should appear after checkout
  • Customize the button labels and texts (English defaults are pre-filled)

Important: Surveys can be embedded only on the Thank you page (post-checkout), not on product pages, cart, or other storefront pages.

Before you start

You will need:

  1. A Primefold XI workspace where you can create and publish surveys
  2. The Shopify extension install link (provided by Primefold XI)
  3. Your Primefold XI API key (provided by Primefold XI)

If you don’t have (2) or (3), contact Primefold support.

Step 1 :  Install the Shopify extension

  1. Open the Shopify extension install link you received from Primefold XI.
  2. Follow Shopify’s prompts to install the extension in your Shopify store.
  3. Confirm the installation is completed.

Note: The extension is created specifically for your Shopify store/customer setup.

Step 2 : Add your Primefold XI API key

  1. In Shopify, open the extension’s configuration/settings.
  2. Paste the API key you received from Primefold XI into the API key field.
  3. Save your changes.

This connects your Shopify store to your Primefold XI workspace so the extension can load your surveys.

Step 3 : Create your survey in Primefold XI

  1. In Primefold XI, create a new survey in your workspace.
  2. Configure and publish it as needed (questions, branding, language, etc.).

Step 4 : Select the survey in the integration screen

  1. Open the Shopify integration screen in your Primefold XI workspace.
  2. Choose the survey you want to display on the Shopify Thank you page.
  3. Save/apply the integration settings.

Step 5 : Customize the texts (recommended)

In the extension settings, you can customize content such as:

  • Button labels
  • Short instructions/prompts
  • Other UI texts shown to customers

Default language: English (pre-configured).
If your store is not English-first, update the texts before going live.

Verify it works (test order)

To confirm everything is set up correctly:

  1. Place a test order in your Shopify store.
  2. After checkout, on the Thank you / order status page, confirm the survey appears.
  3. Submit a test response and verify it shows up in Primefold XI.
