Create a Survey with Sunday (AI)

Applies to: Trial / Business / Enterprise

Sunday is Primefold XI’s AI assistant. It helps you create a survey by asking a few questions, then generating a ready-to-edit draft.

Before you start

  • You need access to a workspace with permission to create surveys.
  • Go to Surveys and click New Survey.

Related: Create a survey (overview)

Step 1: Start the Sunday flow

  1. From Surveys, click New Survey.
  2. Choose Create with Sunday (the AI chat flow).
  3. In the prompt field, describe your survey goal in 1–2 sentences.
  4. Click Send.

Step 2: Answer Sunday’s guided questions

To create the right draft, Sunday typically clarifies:

  • Target audience (who will answer)
  • Survey purpose (what you want to learn / decide)
  • Depth level (short vs. detailed)
  • Specific topics you want to include

You’ll see the guided steps progress as you go
(e.g., goal → audience → purpose → depth → topics → draft).

Step 3: Generate the draft and open the editor

After the last step, Sunday generates your draft (usually within a few seconds).
Click Open in Editor to review it.

Step 4: Review the survey in the editor

In the editor, you’ll see:

  • Sunday on the left (always available to help)
  • Your survey in the main area, organized into pages/sections
  • The questions inside each page, so you can scroll through the full flow

Step 5: Edit your survey (with Sunday or manually)

Option A: Make changes with Sunday

Tell Sunday what you want to adjust. Typical requests:

  • Shorten or expand the survey
  • Change tone of voice
  • Adjust structure or ordering
  • Rewrite questions
  • Change answer options or question types

Review and control Sunday’s changes (apply/discard)

When Sunday proposes edits, you can:

  • Preview what changed before committing
  • Apply changes if you like them
  • Discard changes if you want to keep your current version

Use Change History + Undo/Redo (safe experimentation)

Every step is reversible:

  • Open Change History to see previous states
  • Use Undo / Redo to move backward and forward through edits

This lets you test improvements without risking your original version.

Option B: Edit manually in the editor

You can also make changes yourself:

  • Click into a question to edit the text
  • Change the question type
  • Drag & drop to reorder questions
  • Reorder answer options within a question

Tips & best practices

  • Start broad, then ask Sunday to refine (shorten, focus, reword).
  • Use Change History when you’re trying multiple directions.
