Create a Survey from a Document 

Applies to: Trial / Business / Enterprise

If you already have a brief, notes, or a draft questionnaire, you can upload it as context for Sunday. Sunday will use the document as an informational backup and then guide you through the same survey-creation flow (goal, audience, purpose, depth, topics) to generate a draft.


Before you start

  • Prepare a document that includes your goal and/or questions (for example a PDF).

  • Go to Surveys and click New Survey.

Step 1: Open the “Create from document” flow

  1. In the left navigation, click Surveys.

  2. Click New Survey (top right).

  3. Select Create from document.


Step 2: Upload your document (as context)

  1. Upload your document in the upload area.

  2. Use the prompt field to tell Sunday your intention. 

  3. Continue.

Tip: The document is best used as supporting context (structure, wording, topics). You can still steer the outcome by being explicit in your prompt.


Step 3: Continue with the Sunday creation flow

After uploading, the process continues exactly like creating a survey with Sunday.
